These cast reliefs explore metal as a durable carrier of record. Using photographic source material, I translate images into cast forms intended to function as long-lasting objects rather than unique sculptural works. Digital modeling and 3D printing are used as intermediate steps, allowing contemporary image-making technologies to be absorbed into traditional casting processes rather than presented as ends in themselves.
